Description
Mineral deposits from a hydrothermal vein in Carboniferous rocks in Cumbria, Northern England. The nailhead spar calcite, is sited upon Barytes (off white plate like crystals). The specimen is 10 centimetres wide.

Red Admiral Butterfly (Vanessa atalanta), resting on the grave stone of 5673 W Charters of the 10th Battalion Australian Infantry, in Tyne Cot Cemetery near Ypres in Belgium. The cap badge, behind the butterfly, is that of the Australian Infantry during WW1.
