Description
This single horse in a paddock was lonely and very shy of people. I took his photo because he looked so majestic and sad at the same time. Unused to people he would not come near the paddock fence even when enticed with sugar cubes.
This is the old bridge that was once used on Highway 37 between Shaunavon and Gull Lake, Saskatchewan. The asphalt is still on top of the bridge but it has been eaten away before and after the bridge.
This is the lichen or moss that is growing on an elm tree in my front yard. The shadowed part of the tree gives the yellow lichen even more significance than it would in full sunlight.
This is tree sap on one of my evergreens that stand in my yard. The way the sunlight strikes it creating light and shadows was to my eye unique. I used a macro lens to take this photo.
This is actually a gel candle. I thought it would make an interesting photo and it did not disappoint me. The way the gel looks like ice and the colors swirl make this photo rather eye catching.
This kitten is approximately 4 weeks old at this point and is outside exploring the world for the first time. He was also exploring my camera as I was taking photos of him.
This is across the street from where I live. Fog had rolled in during the night and the temperature dropped causing frost to form on everything. The sky was a brilliant blue, with the white covered trees and it was breathtaking as I was outside taking photos.
