Description
Robert Peel Blue Plaque, Cardwell Place, Blackburn. A farmhouse on this site was the birthplace of Sir Robert Peel, Baronet, 1750-1830 the father of Prime Minister, Sir Robert Peel. The site of the farmhouse demolished in the nineteenth century was originally called Fish Lane.

Accepted into service 26th March 1941. and allocated to 92 Squadron. The plane went missing 14th July 1941 on an operation in Northern France. Donated by WEC group.
