Although Edinburgh sometimes has quite a high turnover of small shops, bars and cafes, which are there one day and gone the next, the Marchmont area has many long-established small local businesses which seem to be thriving. This is a long-established pub in the area, although it has changed hands and undergone a major renovation recently.
