Guildford Railway Station and central Guildford 1983 as seen from Guildford Park Road, looking south east. Extensive development and redevelopment has taken place since, to both the station and central Guildford. A Manchester to Portsmouth train is at the station with Class 47 locomotive, 47444 "University of Nottingham" at the head of the train.
