A view along Tamworth Road, Croydon, in 1967. The set-back building is the warehouse for the wholesaler Brown and Parker which became infamous as the location of the Bentley and Craig murder case. It was on the rook that PC Miles was shot and killed in 1953. Derek Bentley was hanged to his part in the murder.
One of the first and distinctive new buildings in Croydon in the 1960s. The building was known by many names but more often as the NLA Building after the company that rented it. The building stands just outside East Croydon Station
