Mersea Vineyard, East Mersea, Colchester, Essex, at grape picking time. The first vines were planted in 1985, but it was not until the Barber family took over in 1997 that the business expanded, offering tours of the vineyard and winery, with a quality restaurant serving mainly locally sourced food with their own wines and, later, beers produced in the on-site brewery.

An abandoned home on a farming property, next to a vineyard, situated north of Williamstown in the Barossa Valley, South Australia. This home would have been built 150 to 200 years ago when the land was first settled in this area and farmers were allocated a small block each. However, in subsequent years it became obvious that small properties were not viable and many homes were abandoned as farms were combined to make larger, more profitable properties.
