I was taking a picture of something else on the nacton river when this extremely friendly pheasant came right up to me, so the camera turned and it became my model for a few shots (see others in profile) I was struck by its unique colouring due to normally seeing just pure brown/green versions. This was one beautiful bird, it even ran after my car when i left. I guess he/she thought i was a friend, or expected to be paid for the pictures :)

Rare view of 8 young fawns (deer) grazing in a field, typically i left the 300 and 600 zoom lenses at home but still glad i captured them. Middle one looking towards be so looked like bambi!

I was taking a picture of something else on the nacton river when this extremely friendly pheasant came right up to me, so the camera turned and it became my model for a few shots (see others in profile) I was struck by its unique colouring due to normally seeing just pure brown/green versions. This was one beautiful bird, it even ran after my car when i left. I guess he/she thought i was a friend, or expected to be paid for the pictures :)

The famouse St Mary's church stands in East Bergholt which is the birth place of John Constable the famous artist. so much history connected with this beautiful village and is a huge tourist attraction
