Image taken by Harris & Ewing in 1913 of a Nobel Peace Prize Medal. The medal features the face of Alfred Nobel on one side (shown) and inscribed are his name and the years of his birth and death (1833 - 1896). The design of the medal remains the same today and has not changed since 1902. The Peace medal does however differ slightly to the other Nobel medals.

Butler was president of Columbia University for over 40 years from 1901 - 1945 and helped establish the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, serving as its president from 1925 - 1945. The Belgian Mailboat 'Prince Charles' photographed in 1956. The vessel was launched at Hoboken on the 12th March 1930. It had an exceptional speed and once did the Ostende-Dover trip in 2 hours and 27 minutes. In 1931 it stayed for four days in the centre of London between Waterloo and Tower bridge with passengers from the Belgian Maritime Union. Scrapped 1960.
