Description
This 1934 Dennis Mace Single-decker bus was new to the Southern National Omnibus Company, based in Exeter in Devon. With its small 26-seat Eastern Coachworks front-entrance body it was ideal for negotiating the narrow lanes of Devon and West Somerset.

This former 1933 Western National Bristol H-type single-decker bus was rebodied in 1942 by Bristol Tramways, and has a 5-cylinder Gardner diesel engine. It was restored and is owned by Colin Billington and is seen in the South Devon village of South Pool, in the area where it would have originally operated.
