Description
The Beacon at Burton Bassett, Warwickshire, built 16th to 18th Century.
The Folly dates from the early nineteenth century, but is thought to be a remodelling of an earlier, possibly Georgian house, by the Fergusons, who were Reading brewers. There are bricks dated in the 1750s and 60s, and the stamp 18 WHF 05 [or 09] set in the gable wall. However, the building in its present form probably dates from between 1820 and 1840. Inside, the doors, skirting boards, shutters and staircase are all original.

Description
Grandfather's and, smaller in front, the Teahouse, Great Saxham Hall, near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. If the Teahouse was originally in the open parkland of the Hall grounds, a look at the Google satellite image suggests it could have been at the end of a gated private drive from the road. The ground has been disturbed at some time. The Teahouse has clearly been relocated for several years and is now used as a garage - a walk along part of the drive to the pair shows a car in the doorway. Even for the people now living in Grandfather's a view from across the fields where this shot was taken from is probably the clearest view of the Teahouse. Satellite image shows the Teahouse is square with a hexagonal chimney. There are clearer views of Grandfather's.
