Description
The rickshaw man seen here carries passengers of and down the main street of the Three Lanes Seven Alleys complex in Fuzhou. This is an area consisting of hundreds of ancient buildings built during the Ming Dynasty. Many of these buildings are currently being restored to former glory.

There a real community spirit in these lanes and alleys of Fuzhou. Sadly, these communities are giving way to new developments. Soon, these houses, streets and alleys will vanish in the name of progress.
