Fournier st is one of the streets that was at the birth of the Jewish tailoring industries and manufacturers in east London. Fournier st was the first street to have Jewish immigrants working and trading in the 1860s east London.

Description
A church was first built on this site in Saxon times. It was restored by St Dunstan in AD950 then rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire in 1697. Only the tower of the Wren church survives intact. The gardens were laid out following severe damage to the building in the blitz and opened as a public space in 1967.

this is the Victorian furniture warehouse in brick lane east London. the warehouse opened in 1866 selling furniture and other home fixtures. the warehouse was built for the workers from the truman brewery who moved into the area. truman brewery were also the worker landlords. the warehouse remains open sellling furniture and bric a brac today.
