    Description
During the dry September October season huge concentrations of elephant in there thousands have migrated up through Namibia and Etosha Pan to find food water and companionship along the Chobe River and in the Caprivi/Linyanti swamp area. Breeding herds (young and female elephants headed by a matriarch) are commonly seen in these regions. Midday to late afternoon is an especially rewarding time as the herds move to the rivers to drink. The 50 000 elephants that live in the park
