Description
The white marble Arch of Septimius Severus at the northeast end of the Roman Forum is a triumphal arch dedicated in AD 203 to commemorate the Parthian victories of Emperor Septimius Severus and his two sons, Caracalla and Geta, in the two campaigns against the Parthians of 194/195 and 197-199. The Column of Phocas, was the last addition made to the Roman Forum in honour of the emperor Phocas

Description
Ruins of the temple of Castor and Pollux at the Roman Forum taken in 1955. Note top lintel stones are anchored with cables. The original temple was destroyed by a fire in 14 BC but Tiberius rebuilt it in 6AD, the remains that exist today are from Tiberius' temple on the site of the old one. The temple was intact in the 4th century but by the 15th century only 3 columns were standing. In 1760 the Italian artist Piranese managed to climb the columns in order to obtain measurements.

Description
North Theatre is at the top of Cardo Maximus. The Theatre is smaller that the South Theatre, but used more for City Council meetings, than for plays and readings.
