Replica Wiltshire Constabulary rural patrol vehicle. They probably didn't see much use as they were soon replaced by Morris Minor vans when the A35 ceased production.

Originally used in WW2 for air defence with spotlight mounted on body and a generator above the engine. Refurbished for Peter Arnett(Portsmouth,s leading showman)and a gypsy caravan fitted to rear.
This was one of 96 units ordered by the British Army. Its primary role was to pull a 40mm Bofors gun, and was used by the6th anti aircraft division,defending airfields in SE England and the Thames Estury. It was used by Midland Red after the war as a breakdown truck.
