    Description
Vanga was a famous blind sage from the Macedonian parts of Bulgaria, now deceased. During the communist times she gave advises both to common people and to leaders of the regime from all the communist block. It is said that her advices lead to more human attitude of the regime in Bulgaria. Some also say that the Secret services supplied her with information about her visitors - their biography, weak and strong aspects of their life and characters. They say also, that they have installed microphones and hidden cameras in her house and listened to their confessions. Wheather the latter is true or false, the fact is that all her saved money went to the building of this church. When she asked the Orthodox bishop to consecrate the church, he refused with the argument that the fresco icons of the church were not cannonical. Nevertheless common people concider it a sacred place.
