Description
Mosta Dome church was re-built in 1860 in Mosta. The dome was hit by a German bomb in 1942 while 300 people were attending mass. It broke through the roof and landed amongst the congregation but never exploded. The bomb was disarmed and dumped in the sea off Valetta. A replica can be seen in the attached museum.
