Two or three families lived in this small pueblo, the best-preserved structure in the park, for perhaps three generations. You can step inside the rooms, one of which towers three stories and still has pieces of wood beam embedded in the walls.

Description
Weathered remains of the temple of Castor and Pollux at the Forum at Rome, photographed in 1955. The original temple was destroyed by a fire in 14 BC but was rebuilt in 6AD by Tiberius. The 3 columns that survive today are from Tiberius' temple built on the site of the old one. The temple was still intact in the 4th century but by the 15th century only 3 columns were still standing. In 1760 the artist Piranese managed to climb the columns to obtain measurements.
