Engraving from the Illustrated London News 1874 depicting in the central panel a scene in one of Mr Eugene Rimmel's work-rooms where from eighty to one hundred and fifty industrious females are involved in the manufacture of valentines. The remaining illustrations are at the premises of Mr George Meek, Fancy Stationer, and show the processes for the production of the lace-paper that is supplied to Rimmel, the eminent perfumer.
