During the dry September October season huge concentrations of elephant in there thousands have migrated up through Namibia and Etosha Pan to find food water and companionship along the Chobe River and in the Caprivi/Linyanti swamp area. Breeding herds (young and female elephants headed by a matriarch) are commonly seen in these regions. Midday to late afternoon is an especially rewarding time as the herds move to the rivers to drink. Arthur's Stone is a Neolithic burial chamber, a Cromlech, dating from 2500 BC. Hugh glasical boulder supported by 9 uprights. Probably due to glacial deposits. The tomb builders excavated below it. Capstone of Millstone grit weighs more than 25 metric tonnes. In Welsh the tomb is called Maen Ceti and considered one of the wonders of Ancient Britain
