A Typhoon T.3 of 29(R) sqn and an FGR.4 of 3 Sqn do a formation overflight on a misty day at RAF Coningsby. Typhoons have now seen action in the Lybian crisis as offencive aircraft and patroling the "no fly zone"

This was the Phantom display aircraft of 1992. The Cold war was over, as was the first Gulf war, and the RAF's F-4's were about to be retired. This aircraft was allocated to 74 Sqn, but also wore 56 Sqn marks (sort of) at the front.

19 Squadron Phantom XV439/A pictured at RAF Wittering as part of the RAF Germany detachment for the Queen's Silver Jubilee flypast. The aircraft has been erroniously painted with 43 Sqn black and white chequers instesd of the 19 Sqn blue and white variety. It also sports several "zaps" and an unofficial "By Appointment" marking.
