Lithograph portrait print circa 1880s of John L Sullivan. Sullivan (1858 - 1918), also known as the Boston Strong Boy, is recognised as the first heavyweight champion of gloved boxing (1882 - 1892) and the last heavyweight champion of bare knuckle boxing under the London Prize Ring Rules.
