Description
Locally known as the spanish shrine, it was constructed in 1889 as a memorial to Dolores de Bergrin, a Spanish aristocrat and governess to the children at the then nearby Errwood Hall. The shrine itself is located about quarter of a mile from the nearest road in a steep narrow valley within the Goyt Valley, near Buxton in Derbyshire.

A bizarre scene on a road in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England - a large snowman "directing" traffic. Pranksters built the snowman in the centre of the highway during the middle of the night after a sudden downfall of snow in April 2006. Startled motorists had to drive around the unusual traffic cop when daylight came.
