Description
Tuckers Grave Inn, Faukland, Somerset: On the A366 about ten miles west of Trowbridge, this pub successfully retains the feel of a country local as many would have been fifty years ago. As you enter the pub you can opt to drink in the tap room to the right (except there are no taps) decorated in pink and white panelling with a dartboard and shove ha'penny board. To the left is the bar, through which you walk to gain access to a two table snug. Beyond is the lounge. Straight ahead is a tiny narrow corridor leading to the expansive rear garden with bench tables, skittle alley, and outside toilets. The Bass and Butcombe are both served straight from the barrel.
